Liz thoroughly enjoys this work which enables her to interact and work  'hands on ' with young performers everywhere. On the back of the recent Olympic success and everything that they have promoted and generated, Liz is very keen, as she always has been, to promote the Festival movement and to encourage young people to not be afraid of being competitive but to embrace the opportunity to learn and work with, and from others, as this is inspiring and motivating, two qualities that Liz feels are vital to success. See some of the kind comments we've received from festival organisers and others on our Testimonials page.

The principle of having to work in a disciplined  and regular way and also having to work towards a deadline performance date, is a worthwhile skill to learn which is relevant to most aspects of life. As a board member of BIFF, Liz has recently been given responsibility for educational issues, a role which she is delighted to have been asked to take on. Liz would be delighted to hear from anyone interested in finding out more about this aspect of her work or finding out more about BIFF and its interesting history.
